Winter Compete to Elite
GAINING THE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
REGISTRATION IS OPEN
At the Mabry Academy, we put minds and lifestyles at the forefront of our program.
WINTER COMPETE TO ELITE
Winter Compete to Elite is a Mabry Academy program designed for athletes who are committed to becoming the best person and player they can be. Led by President Michael Mabry and Vice President Casey O'Neill. Players will have the option of choosing 9 or 18 indoor training sessions focused on preparing the demands of the Spring Season.
Our Approach
From December to the start of the spring season, the academy staff will guide players through a complete player and personal development experience. This approach is rooted in our mission to have a massive positive impact on a young person's game and life. We utilize both in person and virtual modalities to give players all of the resources needed to maximize their potential. This all takes place in a productive and growth oriented environment where student athletes can connect with their coaches and fellow players.
It is time for a paradigm shift in what our community values when it comes to youth sports. For too long our youth sports environment has not utilized its full potential in helping young people strengthen their minds and lifestyles. At the Mabry Academy, we put that at the forefront of our program. Because of this, our players learn the skills needed to turn challenges into opportunities so they can get closer to reaching their full potential as people. It is time for us to teach our young people how to get the most out of their sports experience. The combination of expert coaching on the field with accurate mental performance guidance off the field is the best approach in the game. Winning your 1 on 1 match up is a major part of the game but is vastly underdeveloped for most players, our program strives to accelerate the strength in this key area of the game.
Our Why
What We Provide
Over this 9 week program our students will receive professional guidance on and off the field that is designed to give them a competitive advantage going into their Spring season.

- 9 or 18 session indoor sessions focused on winning the 1 on 1 match up (you choose 1 or 2 nights)
- 9 weeks of mental skills training (every Sunday night at 8pm over zoom)

Our sessions are 70 minutes in length and include physical and mental preparation at the beginning of each session. Then we dive into our 1 on 1 competition. Players will get anywhere from 30-50, 1 on 1 reps each session while also getting a ton of individual and group feedback. The positive and competitive energy is contagious. At the end we will engage in physical and mental recovery. Those who join are provided one of the top player and personal development experiences in the sport of lacrosse and it will strongly impact their confidence going into the Spring season.
